Happy Mother's Day Cricut Cut Out Card

This cut out card is made using the CTMH Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge.  I wanted to add a lot underneath all the cutouts and as you can see in the picture below, I used two pieces of cardstock on the back, but then added bits of Shimmer Trim on the top part to give the flower cut out all its different colors.  I repeated the cut out look by adding similar Cricut pieces to the top of the card.  It turned out really nice!

Knitted Blanket for Baby Oliver

I asked my daughter what she would like me to make for her new baby and she decided upon a baby blanket.  We found this beautiful yarn one day and she loved it.  I finished it a few weeks before Oliver was born.  It is nice and thick which Megan loves and makes me happy!  She had him all wrapped up in it the other day, I should have gotten a picture but got distracted by his cute little face!

Oliver's First Day Layout

This month the featured CTMH paper is Georgie which is so perfect to show of my new grandson.  I make this layout using the Georgie paper, Complements and Assortment showing off Oliver's first day of life with his mommy (my daughter) and daddy as well as with Grumpy (my husband) and me.  It was a super quick layout to do and so fun with the darling Georgie embellishments!

Garden Bag Giftie

This little garden bag turned out so cute!  I used the owl bag from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge but just didn't cut out the eyes and then cut the top flap off.  I added some cuts from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to decorate it.  It is approximately 2 inches wide, just perfect for some little chocolates for a friend!

March Planner Scrapbooking Layouts

I am enjoying making these pages so very much!  I picked my favorite pictures from March and scrapbooked them in my Planner.  I still pulled out the weekly planning pages I still have them, but I'm pretty sure I don't want them in the book.

I've done more journaling on the month planner page than January and February and I'm really liking that.

I did a full layout on the My Crush Everyday Life Pages on the CTMH Spring Launch Training which was really fun!

I also did a full layout on the fun things we made for my daughter's "Bow Ties Are Cool" (nod to Dr. Who) baby shower.

I also love adding in the sheet protectors and just tucking in some pictures.  I will only have a few layouts to do in a regular book that have a lot more pictures than I want to put in my planner.  It's pretty cute, right?!  It is so fun!

Hello Regatta Card

I love the Regatta papers and I'm not really a water person, but they are so cute and fun to work with!  For this simple card, I just layered strips of the Regatta paper, mounted an anchor I cut from the Artistry Cricut cartridge and then added the stamped "Hello" from the Just to Say stamp set from the Artfully Sent Cricut Collection.  I added the beautiful White and Gold Ribbon to finish it off.

Pocket Scrapbooking with Overlays

This this first time I have used the new Picture My Life Overlays and they are so much fun!

These are the White Overlays and are amazing!  You can see here how easy they are to use, just put it over the top of the picture you want to use it with and then put it into the pocket and viola' it is done and what a fun embellishment!

I used both 4x6 and 3x4 White Overlays on this layout and I just love how it turned out!

Polaroid Smile Card

This is one of the cards from my Card Making Workshop this month using the Regatta papers and the April Stamp of the Month, Life in Pictures.  I think it turned out so cute, we cut a slit where the photos would come out of a Polaroid and put a piece of paper through to mimic a photo coming out.
