Pinwheel Fry Box

I made this for the prize at this month's Card Workshop.  I used the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge and Hopscotch paper to make this mini Fry Box.  It is just big enough to hold two Dove chocolates.  I added some Pixie Extra Thick Twine and mounted the pinwheel on the front with a sentiment and finished it off with a Flamingo enamel dot.

Hope You Are Feeling Better Card

This was a really quick card to make.  I used the Rain or Shine stamp set and stamped the umbrella and sentiment in Outdoor Denim.  Then I put all three of the raindrops on one block and stamped them around the umbrella in Crystal Blue ink.  Then I used an Xacto knife to cut slits on each side of the umbrella handle.  I cut one Slate Twist Tie in half and slipped it through the slits and then, very carefully, twisted the Tie.  Then I just glued the White Daisy Cardstock onto Outdoor Denim Cardstock then onto Whisper Cardstock and then onto the card base.  I added a little Washi tape and Silver Sequin and it was finished.  Quick and cute, just the way I like it.

Hello Sunshine Card

We made this card at this month's Card Workshop.  It is made using the Rain or Shine stamp set, Hopscotch paper, Lagoon and White Daisy cardstock.  We stamped the sun and rainbow and separate pieces of White Daisy cardstock and after coloring and cutting them out, mounted them on the card.  We also added some hand drawn lines for the borders.

Missing You Artfully Sent Card

This is one of the cards we made in this month's Card Workshop.  It is made using the CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge.  It is easy to make as the cartridge cuts out everything you need.  I used Saddle and Pixie cardstock and then added Bronze Shimmer Trim behind the words and the owl's eyes.  We added some Pixie Extra Thick Twine and finished it off with Brown Sparkles.

Birthday Art Journal Scrapbook Layout

This was so fun to create!  I don't usually scrapbook my birthday, mostly because I'm the one usually taking the pictures and I don't take good pictures of myself.  But this time, my friend Heather and I went out to lunch at the Rainforest CafĂ© and she took some pictures for me.  Also, my husband took me on a surprise birthday trip to Leavenworth and even though I didn't have any pictures to scrapbook, I had a few things from the hotel we stayed in and putting them in a CTMH Crush book worked perfectly.  I just added a little bit of journaling and some acrylic flowers, super simple.  This layout makes me happy!

Stand Under My Umbrella Card

I just how this card turned out!  I used the Rainy Day stamp set with the Brushed paper pack.  I stamped the umbrella a second time, colored it, cut it out and used mounting tape to adhere it on top of the first umbrella that I stamped.  I finished it off by adding some gold sequins.

Missionary Training Center Pocket Scrapbook Layout

This is the first full layout that I have done in Taylor's Mission Scrapbook.  I'm excited about how easy it is turning out.  I just printed up the photos some in 4x6 and some in 3x4 and then tucked them in various pockets.  I added a couple of cards from the Balloon Ride Picture My Life kit and viola, done!  I love it!

Lovely Things Card

This is one of the cards that we made in this month's Card Making Workshop.  We used the Brushed paper kit and the Happy Day stamp set.  We used the ShinHan Twin Touch markers to color in the stamps.  It was kind of interesting that as I used a lighter pink marker over the darker one it took some of the color away just like the blending marker does, kind of cool to find out that worked.
