CKU Seattle My Crush Layout

I was cleaning up some things on my desk and noticed the volunteer tag I had hanging there from being a volunteer at the Creating Keepsakes Convention a few years ago and I thought how that would make such a cute My Crush scrapbook page.  So I pulled up some pictures from the event and the people I met (I had to pull some from online) to complete it.  I'm really happy with the page, simple and easy and I have the memory in my book instead of hanging with a bunch of other things on my wall.

Moped card

This cute moped stamp is from the Make It Merry stamp set.  I used the Snowhaven papers and Glacier cardstock.  I also used the Hello from the mini stamp set A Quick Hello.  A quick, easy and cute card!

Make it Merry Card

This is one of the cards from my October Card making workshop.  It is made using the Make It Merry stamp set, Snowhaven paper pack, White Daisy and Glacier cardstocks.  The sequins are originally silver, I just colored them with the Carmine ShinHan Twin Touch marker.

Ice Rain Layout

I created this layout by following the example in the current Close To My Heart catalog on page 124 just changing the theme from the beach to snow.  We had a day with ice rain that was crazy and I took a bunch of pictures so I thought the new Snowhaven papers would be perfect for the layout.  I used the CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge to make all the cut outs.  To finish it off I added an embellishment from the Snowhaven Assortment packet and some little sparkles to the snowflakes.  I love how it turned out!

Happy Halloween Card

Here is my first card made with the new CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge and I have to admit I am in love.  The cards on this cartridge are so much fun and easy to make!  For this one I just cut the card base out of black cardstock, then the insert out of Whisper using the bat cut out on the front of the haunted house.  After stamping my sentiments on the Whisper cardstock, I glued a small piece of yellow cardstock behind it for a full moon.  I finished off the card by adding the enamel stars and grey epoxy bubble.  So easy, so cute, so much fun!
