Mustache Tattoos and Superman Socks

I am getting a little better at creating random scrapbook pages that a My Crush scrapbook lends too, but I'm still not comfortable doing it.  These two pages are mostly of my daughter who is the Queen of Random :) with her Superman socks that I got her and the mustache tattoos!

Hello World Pocket Scrapbooking Layout

This is my 2nd try at a pocket scrapbooking layout (similar to Project Life).  I used the Babycakes Picture My Life kit which worked out perfectly for the theme that I wanted for pictures of my daughter at college.  Even though the kit is geared toward baby layouts, I found some cards that fit perfectly with a more grown-up theme.  The kit comes with one designed cover sheet and this picture of my daughter with her friends jumping looks amazing on it!

4 Luck Treat Tube

These were so quick and easy to make!  I used the Close To My Heart Treat Tubes.  I put 1 Rolo in the bottom, then layered Skittles putting 7 of each color in next topping it off with 3 mini marshmellows.  I wrapped the top of each treat tube with Gold Polka-Dot washi tape and adding the tag.

Returned With Honor Paper Layout

This was one of the best days ever when my son came home from his 2 year church mission in Brazil.  These pictures make me so happy!

I used the Artbooking Cricut cartridge and Cricut Craft Room to create it.  To create the tags, I pulled a tag image onto the mat and then put the words I wanted into a Text Box and place them on the tag image in the location I wanted before cutting out the tag.  I think they turned out really cool!

Blue Cowl Scarf

I really liked making this scarf, I love the slit in it and wanted to find a pretty pin to place on it.

The pattern came from Cowlgirls The Neck's Big Thing by Cathy Carron.

YW Modesty Fashion Show Digital Layout

The Young Women in our ward put together a Modesty Fashion Show.  It was really fun with Modesty Fashion Fairy who taught not to wear too tight clothing, spaghetti stamps and plunging necklines in a funny way.  Then the girls modeled modest outfits (I don't have pictures of those), prom dresses and then the Laurel class got to model modest wedding dresses through the ages which were dresses borrowed from different ladies from church which was really fun to see.
I made this layout using Studio J and the Love Birds digital paper pack.  Like I've said before, I just love adding a ton of pictures to one layout in Studio J.  On the first page it was supposed to be one huge picture, but I reduced the size of the photo well, then copied and pasted it two times to create three smaller photo wells instead of one large one.  I also added one extra little picture on the bottom right hand page to sneak in a picture of the audience.
On the second layout I divided a couple of the bigger photo wells into some smaller ones to fit in more pictures.  It was a fun event and I love how the pictures and layouts turned out!

Base & Bling Pendant Necklace

At the Rediscover CTMH Seattle event one of the projects we got to make was a Base & Bling Pendant Necklace.  It was so easy, I just picked the "Express Youself" icon from the Style Sheet were received, then traced the circle glass cover before cutting it out.  I put a little Liquid Glass on the pendant before sticking on the icon, then covered the top of the icon with Liquid Glass before placing the glass cover on top.  I squeezed it together and gave it about 30 seconds before letting go and wiping off the excess Liquid Glass with a baby wipe.  All I had to do next was put it on the chain and add some charms.  Really cute, individual and quick to make, these will make wonderful gifts!
