Mini Paper Tote

This little tote is made with Close to my Heart's Sweetheart paper and the pom-pom ribbon is from the pink ribbon pack.  I found the pattern online, but reduce the size so it is just perfect to put in some Ghiradelli chocolate.  I also added some Sparkles to give it some bling.

Hawaii Temple Layout

One of my favorite places in Hawaii is the Hawaii Temple.  The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful.  Even though the Temple itself was under a major remodel, it was still beautiful.  We walked around the grounds for quite awhile and then spent some time in the Visitor's Center.
This layout is made with the Close to my Heart Miracle paper pack and using the Magic - Enchantment layout pattern with the file folder's that fold out where I added more pictures.  I loved how the colors of the paper went so well with the feel of the pictures.

my Guest Room

Guest room before
I think our guest room turned out so amazing!  Before we moved all we had was the living room and a blow up mattress for anyone staying over.  Having a guest room is so wonderful!  Especially recently when my parents were here for my mom's surgery, it was really nice to have this space.

Guest room After
I painted the room Twilight blue (ok, that's not its real name, but I based it off a Close to my Heart color that I love) shortly after we moved in over two years ago, but I just hung up the curtains so it finally feels finished.

Guest room After
The bed and side tables are Ikea.  I found the bench in the bay window area online, I just loved the rolled arms on it.  The pear metal picture I recently got when I was out shopping with my niece one day, it was goldish, so I spray painted it black to match the room better.  I got it at Burlington's along with the vase.  Then I added the black and white curtains which I got at Target, I just love them!   I'm so pleased with how the room turned out!

Cards for June Workshop

These are the cards we made at my card workshop this month, I think they all turned out really cute and made with some fun techniques.

This card is made using the "bandana" technique, see how the pattern of the bottom portion of the card is similar to the pattern of bandana material.  To make it start with a piece of White Daisy CS, stamp the flowers and leaves then outline each with a white colored pencil.  Using a sponge rub on ink color then add white dots using white acrylic paint.  This card uses the colors Lagoon, Pacifica and Sky.

This card is made using the masking technique so that the measuring tape stamp looks like it is behind the dress form stamp. It is made using the Sophia papers.

This is a "waterfall" card, when you pull on the tab the flowers flip over to reveal a message on the bottom.  I used the Close to my Heart 2" Scallop Punch and 1 1/4" circle punch with flowers stamped on each piece with the Opaque Pearls added to the center of each flower.

Tiffany's Baby Shower Layout

I just love the Close to my Heart Sophia papers and they are still just as cute digital.  I had so much fun creating these layouts in Studio J.  Tiffany was so cute pregnant!  We found tons of things to decorate in these same colors for the shower.  I made the invitations with Tiffany and Megan's help.  I also made the diaper cake which I thought turned out really cute.  All of this was before Mia came along and now we just can't imagine life without her around!
