Rock Climbing Layout

Years ago Adam went rock climbing with a group of young men from church.  He had such a good time.  I finally got around to scrapbooking them.  I used the Close to My Heart Wings paper pack and a layout pattern from the Magic book that has a fun photo slide feature where I could put more of the climbing pictures.

These pictures show the photo slide the is part of the layout.  It is part of the left side layout.  I made a cut in the sheet protector on the left side so you can pull the photo slide in and out.  I just turned out really cool!

Jumbo Clothespin

I love these jumbo clothespins!  I covered this one with the Sophia paper from Close to my Heart and added some Pear ribbon and a Hollyhock colored paper flower with a white brad in the middle of it.  I have this cute picture of my husband and son just before he left for his mission a few months ago sitting in it.  It can hold pictures, recipes or anything you would want to show off.

Cards for July Workshop

These are the cards we made at my workshop this month.

This card was made with the stamp of the month, Fan Fare paper and the Spray Pen using the Pacifica re-inker.  Mounting tape was used to raise the firework, start and celebrate sign.  To finish it off, the Glitter Gel Pen was used.
This card was made using the Aspire stamp set and the Sweetheart papers.  The shadow of the dancer was made by stamping a first and second generation of the stamp side-by-side.  I added a "tu-tu" by using the 2" scallop punch with a piece of white copy paper and some B&T paper, mashing it up in my hand then reshaping to the size I needed and adhering it with a Glue Dot (I can't remember who used this idea, but I copied it from another consultant, such a fun idea to create the tu-tu!).  I finished off the card by adding the Glitter Brad in Silver.

This card was made using the music stamps from the Universal Brackgrounds set and the Mayberry paper.  I finished it by adding some Colonial White Ribbon, Chocolate Waxy Flax and a button.

Jr. Nationals Layout

I had so much fun creating this layout!  It is a Studio J (digital) layout and I used the Fanfare digital paper.  I loved adding all the stars and the "Jr. Nationals" title was so quick and easy.  I think it just turned out really cute!
