Christmas Layout

I made this layout using the CTMH Pear & Partridge layout, I sponged the Color Ready Ribbon with the Cranberry ink and stamped extra design elements with the Pear & Partridge Workshop on the Go Kit.

On the right hand page I added a 3x3 Flip Flap for additional pictures.

Christmas Advent

This is a CTMH Workshop on the Go kit so everything you needed was in the package, so nice!  I got it all put together and gave it to my niece as she is just starting out on her family and holiday traditions, I hope that she has fun with it!

Family Pictures

I've had this frame for probably a couple of years and just couldn't decide what to do with it.  Then the other day I started pulling out my scrapbooks and going through them, I scanned any picture that had all four of us in it.  After that I chose a variety of pictures, made them all black & white in my scrapbooking program, sized and cropped them then printed them up and put them in the frame.  I'm still not sure about some of the pictures that don't seem to fit well with the framed shape, but I can always change that if and when I decide to.  Overall I'm happy with the results, fun to see a group of pictures of my family all together!

Sharon Creates . . .

Isn't this cute!  Sharon Brimhall had so much fun making our layered snowflake card at my December Card Workshop that she went home and created her own versiou using flowers.  Love it!  Great job Sharon!

Redecorating My Studio

I wanted to do some redecorating in my studio, here are pictures of the updates:
The room as you walk in

This corner still has my discontinued CTMH product on the shelf
I added a cozy spot with the beautiful chair I got for my birthday

This shows the back wall where I changed all my displays

My desk still looks pretty much the same

I recovered my canvas displays and added the cute hangers I found
I also found the cute metal flowers and spray painted them white before gluing them to the canvas displays
This valance is one of my favorite items

December Card Workshop

These are the cards that we made in this month's workshop, they all worked up really quick!

I stamplifted this from dorothyscreativeoz.blogspot.ca, how could I not, it is so adorable!  It is made by cutting White Daisy in 3 sizes of 5 1/4  x 4, 4 1/4 x 3 & 4 x 2 then putting a dab of glue on the back of the top 2 pieces layering them together while you stamp the designs then taking apart and gluing together with the layering Outdoor Denim CS which are all 1/4 inch bigger than the White Daisy pieces, so cute and a big impact.

This card was made using the Clementine paper and the CTMH Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut the banner pieces then stamping the sentiment in Twilight and using mounting tape to attach the banners to the card over the Bakers Twine.  Pretty cute!

This is a swing card and super easy to make using the CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge.  The "S" key has 7 different swing cards on it.  I cut this one out at 5 1/2" in Olive CS then used this month's Stamp of the Month for the stamped image and the Pear & Partridge paper.  See below to see the swing card open, really fun card!

Heritage Printer Tray

I had so much fun creating this printer tray.  I have pictures of my parents and grandparents as well as baby pictures of me, my husband and children.  I made all the pictures black and white before printing them and I used my Creating Keepsakes scrapbooking program to do that as well as to crop and size the photos.  I used the CTMH Avonlea paper as well as various elements for the decoration and Liquid Glass to glue everything in place.  I just love how it turned out!

Mini Christmas Gift Boxes

I think these turned out so cute! I used the Close to My Heart Cricut Artiste to cut out the boxes (see pg. 74) and used the Pear & Partridge paperfor the top and the bottom and Cocoa cardstock for the sides. I cut the box at 3/4" and the same size for the bow (see pg. 55) using Smoothie cardstock.

Needlework Shadow Box

I had so much fun putting this shadow box together today.  I have had ideas of what I wanted to do rolling around in my head for years and finally did it.  I have the first embroidery project that I did when I was probably 6th grade which is the blue and yellow pillow case in the bottom left.  I took a needle arts class in high school and that is show cased with the Hardanger and Swedish needle work in the top left.  I learned to knit and crochet when I was 11 or 12 so I have a little of that in there too and I finished this off with my cow cross stitch I made many years ago.  It just makes me smile to see all the needle work styles I love show cased in one spot!

Chalkboard Tags

I found these wooden tags at Impress and couldn't wait to get them home and paint them with chalkboard paint.  Now I'm all set for reusable tags for Christmas this year, I'm pretty excited about them!

Peacock Card Box

I love how this box turned out!  It is a recipe box, but thought it would be perfect to hold cards instead.  I just painted the edges, added the peacock paper and then Mod Podged the whole thing.  I added the sparkle flourishes to finish it off.

Paper Purses

I made these for a birthday party project for one of my club ladies.  They were made with the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  The first one was made with the Clementine paper and the second one with the La Belle Vie paper.  I think they turned out adorable!

Pumpkin Prizes

These pumpkins turned out so cute!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge and cut them at the relative size of 4.5" for both the pumpkin and the coordinating leaf.  I used some hemp to tie it all up and with a few treats inside them as my prizes for my card workshop.  Love them!

College Dorm Layout

I found a sketch idea book at Archivers that uses divided sheet protectors and I love the ideas in it.  Just because you are using a divided page protector doesn't mean that it can't be cute, because let's face it, cute matters.  I used the Scholastic paper and creates some extra design elements to the divided pages.  This is the day my daughter moved into her college dorm and I thought this paper worked out perfectly.
