Stamped Holiday Gift Ideas

I had so much fun playing with some of our gift products creating some gift ideas using a lot of items from the Close to my Heart Holiday Gift guide:
This is one of the Season's Tweetings Gift Bags that I added my own tag too.  These are available only while supplies last through December 31, 2013.

This Kraft Container is available in the Autumn/Winter 2013 Catalog and I wrapped it with paper from the Sparkle & Shine kit and used the Season's Tweetings stamp set.  So cute to fill with cookies or other treats.

I used a My Creations Clear Treat Tube to create this cute little gift.  I wrapped it with some Sparkle & Shine Juniper Washi tape, used the Ruby Washi tape to create my own twist tie and the Season's Tweetings stamp set.  I cut out the tag using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.

I just love this box!  I used the Cricut Artiste cartridge to cut it out and the Art Philosophy to cute out the wreath and banner.  I used the Season's Tweetings stamp set.

Universal Studios Digital Layout

This is part of my daughter's super fun Senior Trip.  We spent one day at Universal Studios, we had such a fun day, oh, and by the way, waiting 1 1/2 hours to get in the Transformers Ride, totally worth it!

Super Saturday Bracelets

On saturday we had our Ward's Super Saturday.  I was in charge of a class on bracelets which was a new craft for me, but I had found some really cute bracelets on Pinterest and created them from that.  So here are pictures and instructions of my versions:
Stretch Button Bracelet
Materials:  26” .5mm stretchy cord, 27 buttons (9 medium sized buttons, 9 large buttons, 9 small decorative buttons), needle
Step 1:  Lay your buttons out in desired pattern.
Step 2:  Leaving about a 3" tail, begin stringing your buttons as follows:  the cord comes up from the bottom and thru the large and small decorative button, then back down, then down through the medium button, back up through the medium button, up through the large and small decorative button, and so on until it is the length you need.
Step 3: Pull it into a circle and tie the cord into a couple knots.  Then run the excess stretchy cord back through several buttons and trim the ends.
Stretch Bead Bracelet
Materials:  (15) 12 mm pearls, 1 yd 3/8" ribbon, 2 ft .5mm Stretch Magic cord, needle, Fray Check
Step 1:  Thread needle with cord, double & knot end 2-3 times.  Loosely tie knot in ribbon 7” from end, sew cord through knot with needle entering on 7” side securing cord inside knot.  Add beads in desired pattern:
The Wave
1.  Thread a pearl on needle sliding it down until it is flush with ribbon knot.
2.  Wrap ribbon around pearl sewing through where it touches the other hole of pearl.
3.  Repeat steps 1 & 2 to desired length.
The Pleat
1.  Same as steps 1 & 2 of The Wave.
2.  Sew back up through the ribbon .5" from your previous stitch.
3.  Repeat steps 1 & 2 to desired length (do not do step 2 on last bead).
Step 3:  Make several knots in cord, tie tails of cord and ribbon in a knot flush with last pearl.  Trim the tails of the cord.  Knot or tie ribbon tightly trimming ends & sealing with Fray Check.
Tattered Fabric Bracelet
Materials:  torn 2x8 muslin, 1.5x8 cotton and (3) 3/4x15 muslin for rosettes, loose threads of cotton and muslin; 7” pearl lace; 1 clasp; approx. 15 beads; needle; thread
Step 1:  Layout 2x8 muslin piece with cotton piece on top, then layer loose threads and lace in desired pattern minus 1” at edge for overlap.
Step 2:  Make spiral rosettes with the 3 3/4x15 pieces of muslin (for smaller rosettes tear piece to 12”) by grasping one end of your fabric twisting and rolling into a coil holding the bottom of the rosette until finished.
Step 3: Begin sewing layers in place sewing on beads and rosettes (for fabric rosettes, make sure to put at least one small stitch through each portion of your spiral from the outside to the center sewing up and down on each row) in various places as you go.  Finish by sewing clasp on each end of bracelet (make sure you stitch the one half of the clasp before the 1” overlap).

Pumpkin Pie Boxes

I was really excited to create these, they remind me of Pumpkin Pie with some whip cream on them.  I created these boxes using the Artist Cricut cartridge cut at 2.5" with the Huntington paper and the Colonial White Rosette Ribbon.  I stamped the tags using the Perfect Fit Thanksgiving set.

October Card Workshop

This card is another pinspiration (see my Stamplifting board) using For Always paper, Washi Wonder stamp set, Hello Tweety stamp set, Black ink, Lagoon ink and Bitty Sparkles.  I used Cricut Craft Room to create the Art Philosophy bird cut out (White Daisy paper 4.25x5.5, Bird 2.222x2).

This card was made using the Huntington paper, Chocolate CS, Sunset CS, Colonial White CS, 4.25" of Burlap ribbon, Sunset ink, Chocolate ink and mounting tape.  I used the Artiste Cricut cartridge on Cricut Craft Room for the turkey (1.75"), frame (2.042x2.028") and banner (2.75x1).  I sponged Chocolate ink around the edges of  the Colonial White CS and Sunset CS pieces.

This card was made using the Artist Cricut cartridge page 55 card piece cut at 4.75" to create this gift card holder card.  For the card front, all pieces are cut from Art Philosophy:  Ornament 2", skinny banner 1.056x3.153 and .847x2.514, wide banner 1.264x2.  Stamps used come from the October Stamp of the Month Scandinavian Wishes and Washi Wonder.  Finished off with mounting tape and Cranberry Baker's Twine.

This inside pieces is used a similar shape from Art Philosophy on page 43 in Cricut Craft Room sized at 3.375x4.653 then cut on my paper trimmer at 3" to create the straight edge.

Happy Halloween Layout

I used the Artbooking Circut Cartridge to create this layout.  I planned it all out on Cricut Craft Room which really helped.  I used Gypsy, Sunset, Black and Slate cardstock to create it.
