You're EARresistible Card

I thought the Kaleidoscope papers would be perfect to go with the bunny stamp on the Operation Smile Animal Greetings stamp set.  A really quick and simple card.  This card will be available to make (free if you have made a donation to Operation Smile) at my Paper Buffet (click on the Sign-up Genius link to see my class schedule) while supplies last.

Snow Globe Ornament and Container

My second upline, Joanne Walton, came up with this fun idea.  She had found clear plastic ornaments I believe at Michaels and while I was visiting a few weeks ago, we each planned our own projects.

Her idea was to use only half of the ornament and to create a snow globe ornament.  We realized that this ornament was the perfect size to top our Kraft Containers.  So when I designed my ornament and container I was thinking of putting hot chocolate packets into the container.

I used the White Pines papers and several of our Cricut Cartridges to create the design.

I wasn't sure how to attach the ornament to the container, what I ended up doing was layering some pieces of 3D Foam Tape and then added some Hook and Loop Dots for easy removal and reattachment to the container.  I love how it turned out!

Reindeer Candy Cane Giftie

How cute is this?  I was inspired by my 2nd Upline, Joanne Walton, who made a similar one for her downline who attended the Ontario, CA Workshops Your Way event.  I used a cut from the Artiste Cricut cartridge for the envelope and the "ears" (a leaf) and circles for the eyes and nose from the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  To finish it off I used a stamp from the Merry, Merry stamp set for the sentiment which I mounted on the candy cane "antlers."  I just love how it turned out!

My Holiday Banner

When I arrived in California to stay with my 2nd Upline, Joanne Walton, this is the beautiful site I arrived to in her guest room.  It made me feel so welcome, I just loved it.

I can't believe she took the time to create this holiday banner in my name for me.  Of course, when I got home I had to hang it up in my studio, it really makes me happy!

Daffodil Princesses Easter Bunny Layout

At the CTMH convention this past summer we made a layout using the Kaleidoscope papers (the picture below is an example of what we were to create).  I had created mine minus the photos, but when I pulled it out the other day to add the photos I decided these pictures of my daughter taking her turn with the other Daffodil Princesses as the Easter Bunny at an event in 2012, I thought it would work perfectly, except I wanted more yellow, of course, and the title needed to be changed.  I ended up changing all the embellishments after realizing how perfect the Kaleidoscope Complements were for this layout (think Easter and Princess all mashed together!).  I just love how it turned out!

Sparkle More Card

This is one of the cards we made at my Card Making Workshop this month.  I used the Kaleidoscope paper and the Diamonds Are Forever stamp set.  I just used a simple layout but then used sparkly embellishments to bling it up.  I used the Pink, White and Purple Shimmer Trims for the banners stapling them onto the Sentiment with the Mini Staples then added a Purple Heart Enamel Gem.  I also stamped a giant gem in Gypsy ink and mounted onto the card.  Then to finish it off, I put Liquid Glass all over the gem which turned it really cool!

Workshops Your Way Event in California

CTMH had a special training event across the country on the 5th of December and I was able to go to one in California and stay with my 2nd Upline and friend Joanne Walton.  I got to see a new friend, Nancy, as well which was awesome.

We had so much fun creating and playing!  The new Workshops Your Way will be unveiling January 1, 2016 and for me, makes more sense so I'm pretty excited about it.

After the training, a group of us consultants headed to Farrell's for dinner and ice cream!  We had a blast and had to, of course, order The Zoo for enough ice cream for all of us!

White Pines Christmas Paper Layout

I made this White Pines paper layout to sandwich the White Pines Picture My Life pocket scrapbooking (this is the last month to be able to order the White Pines products) layouts I showed last month.  The first page is part of Christmas Eve and the second page is Christmas morning.  I planned the pocket pages to be the same way, Christmas Eve on the front and Christmas morning on the back so it all works perfectly.

I used the White Pines Complements to decorate the page I used Liquid Glass to adhere the clear embellishments.  They are so cute, I just had fun playing with them.

Santa Triangle Box

I saw something similar to this on Pinterest so, of course, I had to make my own.  The box itself is approximately 3" at the base, I could fit 2 Hershey Treasures inside.  I made the triangle box that is on the CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge and the Santa from the Artistry cartridge.  It just turned out so cute!

Christmas Pocket Scrapbooking Layout

I love how quick and easy the pocket pages are to use!  Here are my Christmas pictures using the White Pines Picture My Life cards (only available until December 31, 2015).  I had a few more pictures that I wanted to add to this page, so I used the 3x4 and 4x6 Flip Flap pages which are my favorite thing to use in scrapbooking!  I just love how the layouts turned out!

Knitted Wedding Shawl

My daughter's best friend recently got married and she had wanted to borrow the caplet that I had made my daughter last year for her wedding.  I decided I would surprise her instead with one of her own.  I had to knit quickly, but got done with days to spare.  She just loved it and it made me so happy.  Isn't she just beautiful!

Cars Layout With Urban Papers

At first I wasn't sure what I would use the awesome new Urban papers for to scrapbook, but as I was looking through my photos I came across these of my son and his adventures with cars and realized they would be perfect.  Some of the Urban complements were perfect to go along with the story of what all happened with his cars, crazy few months that's for sure!

The Urban papers were perfect to make this masculine birthday card.  It was fun using the Ink Blot stamps and I used the Lovely Birthday stamp set for the sentiment to finish it off.

Pen Pal Station

I was looking through Pinterest and came across some pen pal things and I was remembering how much I loved writing people.  I had a pen pal from 5th grade through college graduation (we some how lost touch after than).  I used to send cards and letters all the time, but I quit doing it when I started therapy, I just didn't have the energy for it during that time and haven't gotten out of the habit.  But it is definitely something I have been wanting to get back into and when I came across a pin of a pen pal station I knew I had to do it.  I just took my current in box (which was just becoming a clutter pile) and created it.  I took a cardboard box and cut it up the way I wanted it to be, covered the pieces with white contact paper and then used strapping tape to put it all together.  On the left side is cards ready to use.  The right side is split between a section in the back to put letters I have received waiting for me to reply to and the front for stamps and stickers.  I just love it!
