This was so fun to create! I don't usually scrapbook my birthday, mostly because I'm the one usually taking the pictures and I don't take good pictures of myself. But this time, my friend Heather and I went out to lunch at the Rainforest Café and she took some pictures for me. Also, my husband took me on a surprise birthday trip to Leavenworth and even though I didn't have any pictures to scrapbook, I had a few things from the hotel we stayed in and putting them in a CTMH Crush book worked perfectly. I just added a little bit of journaling and some acrylic flowers, super simple. This layout makes me happy!

I just how this card turned out! I used the Rainy Day stamp set with the Brushed paper pack. I stamped the umbrella a second time, colored it, cut it out and used mounting tape to adhere it on top of the first umbrella that I stamped. I finished it off by adding some gold sequins.

This is the first full layout that I have done in Taylor's Mission Scrapbook. I'm excited about how easy it is turning out. I just printed up the photos some in 4x6 and some in 3x4 and then tucked them in various pockets. I added a couple of cards from the Balloon Ride Picture My Life kit and viola, done! I love it!

This is one of the cards that we made in this month's Card Making Workshop. We used the Brushed paper kit and the Happy Day stamp set. We used the ShinHan Twin Touch markers to color in the stamps. It was kind of interesting that as I used a lighter pink marker over the darker one it took some of the color away just like the blending marker does, kind of cool to find out that worked.

How cute are these?! These were my prizes at this month's Card Making Workshop. I cut out the words using the Artiste Circuit cartridge and then made another one just a little bit bigger in black to back it. I used Pixie and Thistle cardstock. I added a pink Enamel Dot and tied it on with some Thistle ribbon then filled it up with candy conversation hearts.

This my first "hybrid" layout that I've posted. So what exactly a "hybrid" scrapbook layout, well it is a combination of digital and traditional or classic layouts.
I wanted to do my son's rugby pictures digitally because there are a ton of them, but I had some really cute rugby stickers that I had been collecting so I was feeling conflicted. That is when I decided the I wanted to make the pages using the hybrid technique. I used a really cute Studio J sports theme digital kit and did very little embellishing on the layouts.
When they were delivered a few days later, I was able to add the rugby stickers to embellish the layouts. I just love how they turned out! Below I have both the before and after pictures for you to see, hope you enjoy them!

I promise that the title of this post is not an accident, I actually used the Pocket Card feature on the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge to create this card. I used Smoothie, Cotton Candy and Pixie as the colors for the base of the card. I adhered the Pocket Card to the front of the card base and attached a few banner pieces with the Mini Stapler and added a Bitty Sparkle bling to finish it off. The Pocket Card icons on the cartridge are great to use on cards or in your pocket scrapbooking!

I know I keep saying how fast and east it is doing the Studio J Digital layouts, but it is true and these layouts were even faster.
This special Yuletide Carol Express Collection is only available through the end of this month (2/15) and everything is done for you. All I had to do was drop in my photos and add journaling. There are more layouts available than the ones I used and you see here, but I thought these were perfect for me and I love how they turned out!
