Missionary Training Center Pocket Scrapbook Pages

These are pictures from Taylor at the Missionary Training Center in Mexico City most of them showing her in class, studying, etc. so I thought the Chalk It Up Picture My Life cards would be perfect for the pages.  The photos are 4x6 or 3x4 (which I just trimmed down) then slid them into the pockets, added the cute cards and viola, pages done!

Easter Basket Prize

These little baskets turned out so cute!  I cut them out using the CTMH Artiste Cricut cartridge.  The cutting image doesn't come with a handle, I just added one.  I used the Brushed paper to create the baskets then filled them with Easter basket grass and chocolate eggs.

Pocket Cards Mini Album

This cute mini album was something we got to make at the CTMH convention.  It is made from Chalk It Up Picture My Life pocket cards, some stamping, a few embellishments and ribbon.  It was such a quick and cute project.  The only thing that took awhile was me getting around to adding the photos which I finally did, I hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I do!

It's Your Birthday Card

This card was made with the April Stamp of the Month, Typed Note.  I repeated the sentiment down the side of the White Daisy piece of cardstock in Lagoon ink then glued it to Black cardstock.  I used my Cricut to cut the scallop border from Chalk It Up paper.  I used the Glacier Extra Thick Twine around the card.  After stamping the reminder finger onto White Daisy cardstock and cutting it out I mounted it on the card.  I think it turned out really cute!

Disneyland Hybrid Layout

This is a paper layout I had previously done using a Magic idea book layout.  I loved how it turned out, but I still had a ton of pictures from this trip left to scrapbook.  I decided that I wanted to use Studio J digital layouts for the rest of the pictures for quick and easy layouts but I still wanted them to coordinate and that is how they became hybrid layouts.

This is one of the layouts, I left some blank areas specifically so I could add some Mickey heads and stamped tickets so that they would match the paper layout I already created.

and here is the layout after I add my paper embellishments.

Typewriter Card

This card was made using the Typed Note April Stamp of the Month set.  What a fun set with a bunch of different sayings!  I used the Chalk It Up paper and White Daisy cardstock.  After stamping the typewriter and the sentiment on the paper of the typewriter stamp I cut it out and then only glued down the typewriter part leaving the paper part free of adhesive and then bending it a little so that it lifted up off the card.  I added a black enamel star from the Scaredy Cat Assortment, a sequin from the Oceanside Sequin pack and a clear Sparkle.

Take Me Away Pocket Scrapbooking Layout

These are the first pages in the all pocket scrapbooking book I'm making.  It was so fun and easy!  I tried just getting 4x6 prints and then just cropping some in the last pocket layout I did, but let's face it I just really like zooming in, cropping and printing my own photos.  Since I'm only doing the two sizes in the pocket pages, it does work up pretty quick.  I used some cards from the Balloon Ride Picture My Life set, they just fit in perfectly with the leaving for an adventure them I wanted.

Hot Air Balloon Artfully Sent Card

I love this "gate" card from the CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge!  I used the Chalk It Up papers as well as Smoothie, White Daisy, Flaxen and Crystal Blue cardstock.  I traced the outside part of the hot air balloon to create the pattern for the back of the balloon.  I took the cut outs of the clouds and mounted them on top of the balloon.  I used the Typed Note (April Stamp of the Month) set to add the Just Because in Smoothie ink.  Then added a sequin from the Oceanside pack.
