Best Wishes Gift Bag

This was the prize that I gave out at my June Card Making Workshop.  It is a cute little bag made from the Confetti Wishes paper and the CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I used some Thistle ribbon to tie around the bag for its closure.  This is the last of my Confetti Wishes items, it has been so fun working with.  Next month I'm playing with the Blossom papers, it is so pretty, look forward to some great projects with it!

Pocket Scrapbooking and Flip Flaps

I've been wanting to do a pocket scrapbooking page with some Flip Flaps, they are so perfect to use with pocket sheet protectors!  This first picture is the layout as it looks in the book.

This second picture is a close up of the photo spot where the Flip Flap is placed.

The last picture is with the Flip Flap open, isn't it so cool, I just love Flip Flaps!

Confetti Wishes Birthday Card

This card another card from this month's Card Making Workshop using the Confetti Wishes papers.  This is a great card to use up scraps.  The top piece is one of the zip strips from the paper pack.  I used the Cricut Artiste Collection Birthday stamp set for the sentiment.  Then just added some Extra Thick Twine, Purple Sparkle and White Enamel Star.

Team Awards Layout

I'm having so much fun with the Confetti Wishes papers!  At first I was feeling like I needed to do a birthday layout, but quickly changed my mind as I came across these photos.  Confetti Wishes just says "celebration" to me and this was definitely a celebration of my daughter's success on her competitive gymnastics team.  I used some of the Confetti Wishes Assortments as well then cut out a large "award" from the Artiste Cricut cartridge to use as my journaling spot.  I just love how it turned out!

Ice Cream Happiness Card

This is one of the cards we made at my workshop this month.  My focus for this month is Confetti Wishes.  This card was made using the CTMH June Stamp of the Month Ice Cream Dream which is such a fun set!  The other supplies used on this card are Honey, White Daisy and Crystal Blue cardstock, Purple Shimmer Trim, ShinHan Twin Touch Markers and a Bitty Sparkle.

Hooded Scarf

I hate to admit this, but I have reworked this yarn in probably six different items and they never seemed just right.  Then I came across this pattern on Pinterest and I just had to try it and I love it.  The hood is slouchy so it almost works as a shawl which I love.  It is the perfect outerwear for here in the Seattle area (you know we don't use umbrellas, just hoodies :) ), I don't usually need a coat (you can blame that on Menopause because I used to always be cold lol) so the hood and scarf are just the perfect protection from the chill and rain when needed.  I'm so excited about it, I think I need to make more!

Confetti Wishes Disneyland Digital Layout

When I am scrapbooking Disney pictures I usually end up using the basic Mickey colors like red, black and yellow, but as I was looking at these pictures I noticed the colors of the park's decorations and saw how the Confetti Wishes papers would be perfect for it.  I've also taken to using Studio J when I have a lot of pictures because it is so quick and easy.  This is the first layout for this particular trip and I can't wait to do the rest I love the colors and how it all works so perfectly for a celebration at Disneyland!

Freedom Card

To make this 4th of July card, I used the CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge which has the stars and circles shape.  I then cut out some pieces from the Gold glitter paper to back behind some of the stars.  I added the banner with the word Freedom and some gold sequins to finish it off.

Brick Friends Layout

There is this family at church that just love Legos and a few years ago started a Brick Jamboree with the Cub Scouts and this year they decided to try one with the Activity Days girls (ages 8-11).  It was a really fun event they made it so special and fun for all the girls.  The girls brought things they built, stories they wrote and they had fun stations all over the church building.  They had food at the end with yummy Lego sugar cookies and then a Lego shaped chocolate thank you for me and other helpers.  It was really fun, I think this might just become a yearly event!
