Pumpkin Patch Layout

The thing I love about the Sangria papers and Sangria Complements is their obvious fall colors so, of course, using them for our pumpkin patch pictures was just perfect.  At the pumpkin patch they had a little petting zoo, even though my grandson was too small to really see the animals it was still fun to take him in there.

Shadow Boxes

I have previously made and shared a shadowbox that shows off my needlework hobby and I decided that I wanted to make another one that features my stamping hobby.  It was so fun and quick to put together.  It includes my first and favorite stamp, Buttercup, as well as some artwork that my friend Kelley made for me.  I also included a My Acrylix Sticky Boy stamp that I found at one convention (CTMH hides them all around the convention area and you have to look really hard to find one).  The tube is actually candy stamps that I got from a friend a long time ago, I could never bring myself to eat them, so I included them in the shadow box, so cute!  I added some embellishments and there you go!

The same day I decided to finally finish this "R" that I had been waiting for me to work on it.  Some cute papers and embellishments and there you go, done!

I hung both of these up by my Japanese shadow box which I have had hanging up for awhile in my studio.  All through high school we had a foreign exchange student from Japan and she would bring gifts every time she would come back for the new school year and I had saved them all and finally put them all in a shadow box.

So now, all three items are hanging up together in my studio, they make me happy every time I look at them!

Wedding Mini Album

Last year my kids got married a month apart from each other and I wanted to make a mini album with some of my favorite pictures from both weddings and the My Creations Black Mini Album worked out perfectly.  I alternated the pages between each couple.  Now I have the cutest little book to keep out where I can show my beautiful family off!

Going Places Pocket Scrapbooking Layout

As many of you know, I am working on a scrapbook for Taylor while she is on her mission.  She doesn't know that I am making it.  I hadn't made a pocket scrapbooking only book before and it is turning out to be so fun and so easy.

One of the new Picture My Life pocket scrapbooking card sets, Going Places, is just perfect for Taylor's mission scrapbook.  I just slide in the pictures and picture a few cards and there we go.  I think she is going to love it!

CTMH 2014 Convention Digital Layout

This was the 12th Close To My Heart Convention that I had attended.  How could I not go when it was at the Disneyland Hotel, one of my favorite places!  It was a great convention and I used the Heartstrings digital paper collection to create the layouts.  I just love all the fun embellishments available in this collection!  To create your own Studio J digital layouts click here.

Fall Scene Card

I am having so much fun with the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge, I just love some of the more intricate cards, first of all because they are so easy as they are already set up and second because they are so cute when they are finished!  This is one of the Scene cards and I thought the Sangria papers would be perfect with this one.  I did create this on Design Space so I could get it the size I wanted and also to add the grass, flowers and the deer and bunny image.  The deer and bunny aren't made specifically to go over the top of this scene card, I just played around with it until it as close enough.

The other fun thing that I did, was that I took the new Coral Shimmer Trim and put a piece over the bird in the branches and then trimmed it from the back side so that the bird stands out more.  Pretty cute!

Supplies (click on the item to see it on my website):

Artfully Sent Cricut Collection
Sangria paper pack
Coral Shimmer Trim
Poppy cardstock
Eggplant cardstock
Fern cardstock
Chocolate cardstock
Champagne cardstock

Mini Stamp Organizer

I just got my first Mini Stamp Organizer.  It is a brand new product from CTMH.  I just love organizing products and this is just perfect for my collection of M size stamps that I have.  They have been in a regular size stamp organizer and this is so much better!  Even the new Instalife Roller Stamps fit perfectly in it!  It just makes me happy!
