February Everyday Life Planner Scrapbook Layouts

I am having so much fun making this layouts for my planner!  When February was over I started putting these pages together and now I have both January and February of 2016 photos completely scrapbooked (March will be different I have some bigger events to scrapbook as well, but my plan is to do the misc and smaller events in my planner).

I started off with the title page for the month, I found a PML card that I wanted to keep in mind for the month and I loved the whole "do" concept.

Next is the month planner layout and again I covered the back side of the page with cute paper because I don't want to keep the daily planning pages (way too messy for me wanting anyone to remember lol).

Then I followed it up with some My Crush pages and a few pocket memory protector pages, so fun!  I printed up all my photos for the month in the 3x4 format and then just decided if I wanted them on a My Crush page or in a memory protector.  Super fun and I love the results!

Baby Boy Bunny Hat

How fun is this little cute hat, I got an awesome new pattern book and this is one of the patterns.  I wanted to get more done by Easter, but that didn't quite happen (still working on an adorable pink one), there is always next year!

You Are My Sunshine Card

I love this card, I especially love the all the yellow in it!  This is the Penelope paper and I think that little zip strip of yellow flowers is my favorite!  I used the March Stamp of the Month Sunshine birdies.  I finished it off by adding the gold and white ribbon and the gold sequin.

Bird Song Card

We played with the water color pencils and blending pen with this card and to add a little pizazz there is a touch of the silver metallic marker.  I used the Penelope papers and the Sunshine Birdies March Stamp of the Month set.  We added a little washi tape, mini staples and a butterfly from the Playful Puffies embellishment pack.

Love Your Selfie Layout

Then Love Your Selfie Picture My Life cards just seemed so perfect for more of Taylor's mission pictures.  I just love the Hello Life card too, it seems like that is what Taylor is saying in the top left picture which makes me smile!

Happy Easter Bunny Box

This cute little box is from the Artiste Cricut cartridge.  When I was first putting it together, the edge where you tuck the bunny in to close ripped and I was so disappointed.  But I tell everyone that there is no such thing as a mistake, only an embellishment opportunity and that is what happened here.  I grabbed some washi tape and put it on the ripped edge and the decorating just went from there.  I think all the washi tape on it is really cute!

Hoppy Easter Pop Up Card

I used the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge to make this card which makes it so much easier.  All I did was add eggs to the front with grass.  The trim at the top and under the "Hoppy Easter" sentiment is washi tape and then I just added some Sequins and Sparkles.

In Memory Of Stacey Layout

I created this layout without any idea of what pictures I wanted to put on it.  As I pondered what pictures to use, I looked at the beautiful sun and bright colors and knew that pictures of my dear friend, Stacey, would be perfect on these pages.  Stacey just had a knack of bringing light and joy into everyone's lives and I knew these Penelope papers and embellishments would do her justice.

I had saved different photos from the news articles about the accident that took her life and I wasn't sure I wanted to scrapbook them, but I decided to include them but hide them behind other pictures using some 3x3 Flip Flaps.  There are a total of four Flip Flaps on this layout because I wanted to keep a lot of the pictures people had posted in memory of her.  I didn't know what to journal, so much is in my heart and I already wrote so much of my feelings on my other blog, (Sunshine and Shadows, Just Be Happy, Dear Stacey), that I just opted for a simple statement.

Doing an "in memory of" scrapbook page is not easy, but I know this layout will make me happy when I see it as I remember Stacey, my Sunshine!
