This was the prize that I gave out at my May Card Making Workshop. I have really fond memories of May Day so creating a little May Day basket was such a fun way to commemorate the holiday. The base of the basket is about 2" square. I think it turned out pretty cute!

I am having so much fun with my planner, I just love it! These are my pages for April, my new grandson was born in April, so I have a whole layout of him on the My Crush pages as well as some of the Every Day Life pocket memory protectors. Lots of things going on this month and I already have them in my book, I just love that!

This was such a fun card to make, I used the cuts on the Artistry Cricut cartridge for the pineapples and the sentiment. The paper is from the Happy Times special National Scrapbooking Month paper collection. The pineapple washi tape was added to a piece of white cardstock before adding to the card so it would really stand out.

I couldn't wait to try the new Picture My Life Watercolor Cards! I first used these clear ones (they have clear embossed words or patterns on them that resist the water coloring). I had to use the one that says, "Legit" on it for Taylor's book because she uses that word all the time. That one was easy just washed it with some blue watercolor paint. I tried doing two toned on the other one, I did have to do a little clean up on that one though, but I love how they both turned out, I can't wait to make more!

This cut out card is made using the CTMH Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge. I wanted to add a lot underneath all the cutouts and as you can see in the picture below, I used two pieces of cardstock on the back, but then added bits of Shimmer Trim on the top part to give the flower cut out all its different colors. I repeated the cut out look by adding similar Cricut pieces to the top of the card. It turned out really nice!

I asked my daughter what she would like me to make for her new baby and she decided upon a baby blanket. We found this beautiful yarn one day and she loved it. I finished it a few weeks before Oliver was born. It is nice and thick which Megan loves and makes me happy! She had him all wrapped up in it the other day, I should have gotten a picture but got distracted by his cute little face!

This month the featured CTMH paper is Georgie which is so perfect to show of my new grandson. I make this layout using the Georgie paper, Complements and Assortment showing off Oliver's first day of life with his mommy (my daughter) and daddy as well as with Grumpy (my husband) and me. It was a super quick layout to do and so fun with the darling Georgie embellishments!
